POSTAGE / CARRIAGE AND PACKING CHARGES

In the case of multiple orders only the highest post cost will be charged. For example if you order 1 tin of paint the postage will be £3.00, or if you order 100 tins of paint it will still be £3.00.

Or if you order Hornby Track at £4.00 post and buildings at £3.00 post you will only be charged £4.00 for the whole consignment.

 All payments by credit / debit card are protected by Sage Pay (PROTX) secure payment site.

 When using the payment site, DO NOT use the back key / button or refresh. Because it is a secure payment site it will either shut down or not except the order. Also if you are using the payment site and get interrupted (5 - 10 minutes) it may do the same thing.

 If the payment is a success you will receive an email receipt from ProtX with a customer ID code eg  55rN1LdqAS453oTqmxwmAip25gFQz

 You will also receive an email receipt from the shop. This is an automatic receipt and will even go out even if the payment is a failure.

Insurance is included within the postal / carriage charge for goods up to the value of £20.00. Additional insurance cover over and above £20 will be provided and charged at the customers request on the order form.

50p up to £100 value. £1.15 up to £250. £2.25 up to £500..

Responsibilty for any delay, damage or non delivery for goods will be the carriers responsibility once the goods have been signed for and accepted by the said carriers.

All items are priced inclusive VAT at the standard rate where applicable

At the moment the web site is not set up for export. If you require any items contact us first. Carriage will be charged at cost and can be expensive for large kits.

ALL CUSTOMERS FROM OUTSIDE THE EEC are entitled to deduct VAT from the retail prices (Multiply by 0.8511 to give you the price without VAT) with the exception of books, magazines & catalogues.

When ordering on line .. Please give your full name and address as registered on your credit card, together with the start and expiry date, all the card numbers plus the last three digits on the rear magnetic signature strip and the issuing bank ie Natwest .

If ordering by telephone or by post ... you will be required to supply your full name and the address as registered on the card plus the number of the card and the expiry date

 Goods can be sent to another address but we still require the address registered on the credit card.

Cheques and P.Orders to be made out to Gee Dee Models Ltd On the reverse side of the cheque print.your full name.. postal address inc.post code.your cheque guarantee number and expiry date of same.

NOTE we need five full working days from receipt of your cheque for clearance.

We endeavour to maintain stocks of all the items shown on our website, however, sometimes this can be beyond our power due to delays from the manufacturers and suppliers. Should any delay occur you will be informed of the delivery situation immediately with the option of cancelling the order if you so desire. If however, due to circumstances beyond our control we are unable to supply the goods ordered then we reserve the right to terminate the order and refund the cheque or postal order.

DAMAGED OR FAULTY GOODS

Any shortage or faulty items must be reported to Gee Dee Models in writing within 7 days. If on delivery there is any sign of damage.please sign the consignment note as 'damaged parcel contents not checked for damage or shortages' Please note the name of the carriers.
